A Bit More

From creating gaming websites as a 12 year old to designing assets for video games, throughout my career I have felt passionate about graphic design and creating clean, intuitive interfaces for users.

My first experience of 3D modelling & animation came during my BSc course in 2006 - since then my interest has developed further through the undertaking of numerous course modules and from following a plethora of tutorial videos. I especially enjoy working in Maya: it gives me an artistic outlet to create something intricate and interesting. While I was initially drawn by rigging and animating characters and the joys of creation, I have since developed an interest into building immersive experiences with environments.

I've been a huge fan of video games since the good old days of the Mega Drive. The magic and beauty of recent games like Super Mario Galaxy and the expansive detailed worlds of series like Assassin’s Creed are highlights for me. The production process of video games has always interested me, similarly; theatrical animation has also captured my heart. I am equally fond of 2D and 3D animation, especially the works of Pixar and Studio Ghibli; I feel inspired by the brilliance of films like Toy Story and Howl's Moving Castle.
